How long will we have to wait to see the vet?
Our Collingwood animal hospital operates in a similar way to a human doctor's office—it can be unpredictable, and you may have to wait.
It simply isn't possible for our team to predict what cases we will see and when they will arrive. We respectfully ask that you call ahead to find out whether we are able to provide emergency care for your pet.
If we are unable to fit an emergency appointment into our veterinarian's schedule, we can recommend an appropriate emergency care option. You may also contact VetWise for virtual veterinary triage and guidance, including referrals to an emergency hospital when needed.
-
Can I use VetWise for my pet's emergency or urgent care needs?
VetWise Virtual Support is a virtual service that triages urgent health issues affecting our patients and provides veterinary advice and emergency referrals.
If your pet is experiencing an emergency outside of our operating hours, we recommend calling VetWise at (888) 243-1411.

-
What happens if my pet needs to stay in the hospital?
Some veterinary emergencies require intensive overnight care. If your pet requires emergency care outside of our regular business hours, we will direct you to an appropriate emergency veterinary hospital for continued care and monitoring.
Your pet's well-being is our top priority.
